The Poplar S Convertible Car Seat by Britax grows with your little one. An upgraded version of the Britax Poplar, this car seat features the ReboundReduce bar for added stability and additional inserts at the head and at the back for extra comfort. Built to keep up with growing kiddos, this convertible car seat lets your little one ride rear-facing from birth up to 50 lbs before transitioning to forward-facing mode, where it supports up to 65 lbs. The rear-facing car seat includes a patented SafeCell crumple zone and a V-shaped top tether to help reduce and absorb energy in case of an accident, and the carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. For additional health safety, the car seat cover fabrics are naturally flame-retardant and 100% FR free, assuring no nasty chemicals will be in contact with baby's sensitive skin!

Easily transfer to the next car seat stage thanks to the ClickTight installation! The ClickTight design provides fully open seatbelt paths that are clearly labeled for easy use in just 3 steps - open, thread and buckle, click it closed! The automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening, and the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest, along with the premium insert, help create the perfect cozy fit!

Britax is fully transparent about their manufacturing process and guarantee that their car seats are completely free of any added fire retardants. However, their products are manufactured in the same facilities as other gear that does contain FRs so there is a chance of potential FR carryover.
