While no products sold on Modern Nursery have any added chemical fire retardants, some may be manufactured in the same facilities as others that do and therefore may have potentially been exposed to FR chemicals. Think of it as oats that may not be gluten-free because they're processed in the same factory as wheat, or the 5 second rule - some people may never want to eat that food, while others are completely fine with a little exposure!
