How it handles germs and viruses

Its HEPA captures particles down to 0.1 microns, the size range that includes bacteria and the droplets that carry viruses. The HEGA cloth is the same fabric used in CBRN (chemical-warfare) masks, and Austin Air points to a 2009 UK Health Protection Agency study that found it captured and neutralized viruses, which is why they call this maximum virus protection.
