GREENGUARD Gold-certified products are independently tested to meet the most stringent standards for indoor air quality. This certification is especially important for babies and children, whose developing systems are more sensitive to VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than adults. Each product is carefully screened for chemical emissions of over 10,000 VOCs. GREENGUARD Gold certification is only awarded to items with extremely low to non-existent chemical emissions. It’s especially important that you use a GREENGUARD Gold crib and mattress since your baby will be using them so often!
