Made from baltic birch and birch plywood. Miller dowels are used to insure strong joints. Comes with white painted body, natural birch top, painted bird/chick lid, and walnut wood veneer appliques for beak and legs. Natural birch interior of box. The wing cut-out acts as the hand-held opening for lifting the lid. Entire box is coated with low voc, water-based polyurethane for sheen and protection.
